Black background brings out this beautiful logo. It does not scream “look at me” it just sits there elegantly waiting to be discovered. Simple and functional.

Must feature this awesome logo design. The dragon icon or crest, whatever you want to call it, it is very cool looking.

The Heads of State has a very fitting, classic crest logo. With a play on words due to their design company’s name, they have chosen to adopt a very “official looking” US government styled crest logo. I think it looks great. It’s understated on their website, which is a shame because it’s a perfect logo for them.
Their site also features some very smooth navigational features which I enjoyed as well. I’d encourage you to visit their site and check out the logo and easy to use navigation for their site. Good Stuff!

I love these crest logos, they just look good. Centered in the header, boldly stating, “you have entered the Blog Design Blog zone”.
There is lots of work put into this one. You have the background first, the blue rays expanding from the center. Then you have the splats and the dripping paint effect followed by the fading diagonal lines. Looks like there are some white squiggly line patterns, a music symbol and only then you have the wings, the shield the lion and the ribbon with the Blog Design text on it.
Wow, try reading all that in one breath. Really, this is not an easy design to create and if you put some time into it, it comes out looking like a champ.
I will have to try making one of these some time.

This is shaping up to be a good week! I came across another logo that has some crest style leanings to it. The logo for Stuff and Nonsense has a definite crest look to it. I particularly like the sketched appearance it has to it. In some ways, it almost reminds me of something out of a comic book (which is cool). The color combinations and the non-glossy finish are also cool touches. It’s definitely a cool logo.
Their site is also very informative as well. Since Stuff and Nonsense is a web design studio, they feature many examples of their creative work. I would encourage you to spend some time perusing their site. Lots of good stuff! Enjoy!

After mentioning crest designs the other day in a post, I started looking around to find more good examples of crest logos. It’s rare to find really good ones. However, I have one that I’d like to share with you. K. Bennion Arts has a wonderful crest logo. To put it simply…it’s great! It has a very classical style to it, yet it’s also very modern in a clean, crisp, simplistic way. I’m hideous when it comes to translating Latin, so I’ll have to email Karl to find out what ‘via mina utore’ means. I’ll update this when I find out.

Anyhow, it’s an excellent crest logo. His entire site is nicely designed. Great content and layout. Very professional.
If you want to excel in IT then go for exam like Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) 640-802 exam or MCSE 70-649 exam. They can increase the value of your degree like a person with simple MIT and a person with MIT and Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices 640-822 certification, show a great difference. So go for exams like 640-863 exam and Microsoft 70-293 exam to excel in you field.

I stumbled across Truebluetitan.com today and thought it deserved mention. I like several things about this site’s layout and design:
1. Color combination. I like the dark brown and silvers that are on the page. I also like the texture of the brown. It has a leather like quality to it. Er, wait…is that naugahyde? Whether it’s leather, naugahyde, or pleather, it’s a nice look.
2. I like the logo alot too. It’s a titan…no getting around it. It’s also got a crest like style and aviation type theme to it, which sets it apart as well.
3. Very simple navigation. 3 tabs…perfect. Simplistic, yet comprehensive in scope.
I think there are some simple points in this design that can lend itself to creativity and ’spark’ for new designs when they come up with new clients. Check it out and let me know what you think of the site too.

Airy and hippie yet modern and stylish is what comes to mind when I look at this website. A simple crest design is used here, even looks like it was taken from a clipart collection. Surrounded with some quality design, color and effects the crest becomes a part of the overall header design and a stylish logo.

Yes, I called it “sophisticated logo design”. I kept looking at it to come up with an adjective that would describe this logo and “sophisticated” is the only thing I could produce. I like this one for the classy, neat and elegant look. A very appropriate logo for an estate.

This is a unique site, the crest like logo with the glossy effect on the rays of light shining from below, the header design and the entire layout is not like much I’ve seen. It is narrow and long. I like the header and the footer with the silhouetes of “vegetation” and flowers.
