Great Crest Logo
April 6th, 2008 | by timm |After mentioning crest designs the other day in a post, I started looking around to find more good examples of crest logos. It’s rare to find really good ones. However, I have one that I’d like to share with you. K. Bennion Arts has a wonderful crest logo. To put it simply…it’s great! It has a very classical style to it, yet it’s also very modern in a clean, crisp, simplistic way. I’m hideous when it comes to translating Latin, so I’ll have to email Karl to find out what ‘via mina utore’ means. I’ll update this when I find out.
Anyhow, it’s an excellent crest logo. His entire site is nicely designed. Great content and layout. Very professional.

I am honored to be featured here!
A little explaination:
Via Mina Utore means “the road less used” or “the road less travelled”
The red dragon is the symbol of Wales. Bennion is a welsh name and I have deep heritage from Wales.
Thanks for the compliment on my design work!

Thanks for the explanation Karl. It just goes to show that “you learn something new everyday.”
Now that I know those things about your crest, it makes the logo even more awesome!
